West Brom are reportedly exploring a return for former defender Paul McShane to join their coaching staff, while Aston Villa have received encouragement in their pursuit of Feyenoord winger Anis Hadj Moussa.

According to Maghreb Football, Moussa’s agent has indicated the 24-year-old is targeting a move to the Premier League this summer.

Moussa scored 14 goals and supplied seven assists for Feyenoord across all competitions last season, and he also featured at the 2026 World Cup with Algeria.

He has also attracted interest from Newcastle United, although reports suggest he favours a move to Villa Park.

McShane scored three goals in 42 appearances for the Baggies in the 2006-07 campaign.

He is also said to have been on the radar of Lincoln City and Stockport County, and most recently worked as Lee Grant’s assistant at League One side Huddersfield Town last season.
