West Ham boss Nuno Espirito Santo admits it is “impossible to replace” what Lucas Paqueta brings to his side.

The Brazilian midfielder will miss Saturday’s game against Bournemouth through suspension and Espirito Santo says it will be a big blow to be without him.

“Irreplaceable, I would say,” he said when asked about Paqueta.

“It’s impossible to replace a player like Lucas, we have to be aware of what he means for us, what he gives us, his talent.

“A fantastic player, so irreplaceable.

“We have to find solutions. There’s still the session tomorrow, players are returning. In international break, one player returns yesterday, one two days ago, one today.

“Tomorrow (Friday) will be the moment we look at the team, look at the boys and decide whose coming, whose travelling and whose playing.”
