West Ham trio to miss Newcastle game, Espirito Santo confirms | OneFootball

West Ham duo Niklas Fullkrug and Konstantinos Mavropanos are again set to miss out when Nuno Espirito Santo’s side take on Newcastle on Saturday.

Fullkrug has missed the last two games with a muscle injury and Espirito Santo says he is unsure when he will be back.

“Niclas Fullkrug is still out,” he said. “We still aren’t totally sure when [he will be back] but he has started already on the grass. He isn’t totally with the group so we expect it will be fast.”

Mavropanos also remains out with the leg injury he suffered against Brentford, but is back in individual training.

 “He has started the fitness program,” Espirito Santo said. “He has had his first session on the grass so expect a couple of weeks more before he is totally available.”

Oliver Scarles, meanwhile, has undergone surgery after breaking his collarbone against Leeds.

“He won’t totally stop because he will be doing some kind of conditioning.”
