The Hammers confirmed the news via an update on their official club website earlier today.
Garrad has spent the last 18 months with the East Londoners after joining the club upon her exit from their Barclays Women’s Super League rivals Arsenal. The youngster made four appearances for The Hammers last season.
With Garrad far from assured regular football with West Ham United this season, the player joined FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division club Watford on a dual-registration basis. The 19-year-old has impressed for The Golden Girls, making 13 appearances for the Hertfordshire club and scoring three goals.
The next chapter of Garrad’s career will take her to the Toppserien, the Norwegian top flight, after signing for Stabæk FK. The defender will hope to kick on and carve out a successful professional playing career.
Four players have now left West Ham United in the current transfer window. Winger Thea Kyvåg and forward Claudia Walker have returned to their former clubs LSK Kvinner and Birmingham City while teenager Alex Hennessy has left West Ham United by mutual consent. The Hammers boss Paul Konchesky is likely to bring in some new faces in the coming weeks.
