West Ham United are interested in signing Sunderland winger Jocelin Ta Bi, according to French outlet Foot Mercato.
West Ham manager Nuno Espirito Santo recently brought Manor Solomon to the London Stadium club from Tottenham Hotspur.
The Hammers still want to bolster their attacking ranks and another player from the Premier League could be arriving soon.
Ta Bi joined Sunderland from Maccabi Netanya in January but made only two appearancs last term.
The 21-year-old has been praised for his ‘rare explosiveness and skills to dribble’, and he has several suitors alongside West Ham.
OGC Nice, Le Havre, and Lorient all want to bring the Ivorian to Ligue 1 on loan, while, Burnley and Hull City are also in the race.
However, Sunderland are not keen on letting him go, but it is believed things could change before the deadline.
Ta Bi will be desperate to get regular playing opportunities this season, and West Ham could be willing to hand him the chances he wants.
His huge potential has attracted suitors and the Hammers could do with such a talented winger.
West Ham started life in the Championship with a 2-2 draw against Burnley on Sunday and are back in action on Saturday when they host Charlton Athletic.
They have added Solomon, Arne Engels, Joel Veltman and Joel Piroe to their squad, while Keiber Lamadrid has joined permanently after initially arriving on loan.
The Hammers could do with more quality players to boost their promotion chances, and Nuno will hope more signings are made in the coming days.
