Tottenham manager Thomas Frank is under a lot of pressure after a disappointing first half of the season.
There have been rumours that he could be shown the door soon if the results do not improve dramatically. However, the recent performance against Manchester City shows that the players retain their faith in the manager and are willing to fight for him. Tottenham were 2-0 down, but they battled hard to secure a 2-2 draw.
Keith Wyness believes Frank has not lost the dressing room yet and that there is hope for him. He is a quality manager who has demonstrated his Pedigree at Brentford. It will be interesting to see if he can silence the doubters at Tottenham and prove his quality.
He told Football Insider: “I don’t think they’re out of getting a European place by any means yet. I think they could still challenge for that and that would be acceptable, I think, to the Spurs fans, and they see some growth coming back. “But Frank got that second half out of them and that did surprise me. I mean, like everybody, I was writing them off at 2-0 down, but the comeback certainly showed me that the players are still playing for Frank, and so I think, look, it’ll settle down at Spurs. We’ve got to, I hate using the excuse of injuries, but in this case, it is such a long list.”

A club of their stature should regularly push for Champions League qualification and do well in domestic competitions. Instead, Tottenham are in the mid-table positions. It remains to be seen whether they can get the season back on track over the next few weeks.
They have had multiple injury problems, and that has contributed to their struggles. Frank will certainly hope that his key players can return to action quickly and help him salvage the season.
