All you need to know as English football’s secondary club competition reaches it’s final stages
The Carabao Cup semi-final draw takes place this week.
There is a scenario where it is an all-London Carabao Cup draw with five teams from the captial featuring in the four respective quarter-final ties.
Chelsea are away at League One leaders Cardiff, Fulham face holders Newcastle, Brentford take on eight-time winners Manchester City, and Arsenal do battle with Crystal Palace.
Due to Palace’s fixture scheduling, their tie at the Emirates Stadium will not be played until next week which means both teams will be in the hat for the semi-final draw.
Here’s everything you need to know about the draw for the Carabao Cup semi-final.
Nothing has been confirmed yet, but the draw is likely to take place on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.
It could take place after Newcastle vs Fulham tie with an estimated start time of 10.30pm GMT.
TV channel: In the UK, the Carabao Cup draw will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports News.
Live stream: Subscribers can tune online in via the Sky Go app.
The ball numbers are to be confirmed.
The semi-final first-leg ties pencilled in for the week commencing Monday, January 12, 2026 with the return legs scheduled for the week commencing Monday, February 2, 2026.
Meanwhile, the final will take place at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, March 22, 2026.
