Memphis is expected at CT Joaquim Grava on Tuesday to finalise his contract renewal and be announced by Corinthians ahead of Thursday’s Conmebol Libertadores last-16 return against Rosario Central.

The new deal runs until mid-2028, confirmed by president Osmar Stabile. Despite more than 50 days without a match, he is expected to train on Tuesday and Wednesday and be available to Fernando Diniz for the 21:30 Brasília time kick-off at Neo Química Arena.

The first leg in Argentina finished 0-0. Corinthians will go through with a win by any score.

He has not played since 25 June, when he featured for the Netherlands at the World Cup, and has not trained on grass since that exit. Even so, he is considered to be in good enough condition to contribute in the decisive tie.
