La Liga champions Barcelona’s recent struggles on the continent have been very much reflected in the updated Champions League standings.
This of course comes with the Blaugrana fresh off another outing to forget.
After making the trip to west London to take on Chelsea, Hansi Flick’s troops found themselves condemned to the wrong side of a 3-0 result.
As much has culminated in Barca tumbling to 15th in the league phase standings in the Champions League, despite having now played a game more than half of the teams in the tournament.
Dating back to the start of last month, Barcelona have now managed a win in just one of their last four outings on the continent.
This came by way of a 6-1 home drubbing of Greek outfit Olympiacos.
In the fixture prior, the Spanish champions were put to the sword by Paris Saint-Germain, followed by a 3-3 draw with Club Brugge, and tonight’s demolition at Stamford Bridge.
