According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the 2025/26 Premier League net spend table highlights how the campaign unfolded and where Leeds United stood.
Daniel Farke’s side stayed up with comfort, finishing 14th and eight points clear of relegated West Ham in 18th. Leeds spent £100.1m and brought in £8.6m, leaving a net spend of £91.5m.
Arsenal won the title for the first time since the 2003/04 Invincibles, holding off Manchester City. They also topped the net spend list on £250.1m, after spending £263m and recouping £12.9m.
Liverpool’s gross outlay hit £442m with £207m recouped, for a £235m net spend that ranked second. Manchester United’s figure was £166.9m, while City were at £135.2m, just under £100m shy of Liverpool.
Among the promoted clubs, Sunderland led the way on £119.9m. Newcastle registered a £95.6m net spend after £252m in fees and £157m recouped, while the biggest net sellers included Bournemouth on -£90.7m, Brighton -£66.35m and Brentford -£50.2m.
