Castellón will come together on Tuesday 14 July 2026 for France v Spain, a match that could return La Roja to a World Cup final after 16 years. Big screens will go up across major towns, with supporters dreaming of Sunday’s showpiece at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey and a second star.
Kick-off is at 21.00. According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, plazas, seafronts and landmark sites across the province will become fan zones to back Luis de la Fuente’s side.
In Castelló, a giant screen will again fill the Plaça Major after the quarter-final crowd for Spain v Belgium, with Estepark also showing the game and offering free parking. Sports councillor Maica Hurtado hailed the previous atmosphere and urged locals and visitors to return. The council plans to repeat the set-up on Sunday if Spain reach the final.
Burriana will install a 5-by-3-metre screen on the seafront promenade with 450 chairs, with DJ Xente from 20.00 to warm up the crowd. La Vall d’Uixó will screen the match at Les Coves de Sant Josep, preceded by a programme from 20.00.
Almassora will host fans in the Mesón de Fiestas area beside the town hall, while Vila-real will turn the Plaça Major into its meeting point. Other localities: Almenara (Parc Municipal, Platja Casablanca), Benicarló (Passeig Ferreres Bretó), Benicàssim (Plaça de les Corts Valencianes), Caudiel (Salón Cultural), Orpesa (Plaza Mayor), Peñíscola (Plaza de Santa María), Segorbe (Pabellón Multiusos de Segorbe), Traiguera (Plaça del Raval), Xilxes (Plaça de l'Armada).
