Vasco will have fresh options for the Sudamericana semi-final against Boca Juniors in the second week of October. Only Facundo Colidio is unavailable for registration. None of the trio were involved against Independiente Santa Fe.

According to Globo.com, Conmebol rules permit up to three changes to the semi-final squad list. Colidio remained on River Plate’s roster, with River also competing in the Sudamericana, at the start of the play-offs, and from that stage a player cannot be registered by two clubs, even if he did not play.

Alan Lescano and Gabriel Pereira are already registered with the CBF and their paperwork is complete, so they will be included. Vasco must submit any changes by 18:00, Paraguay time, on nine October.

Lescano featured in the Libertadores preliminary phase earlier this year. As the tournaments are distinct, that appearance does not bar his Sudamericana registration.

Bruno Duarte and David scored the goals that sealed Vasco’s qualification. The tie will begin at La Bombonera, with the return leg in Rio de Janeiro.
