Vasco are pursuing a new centre-forward and have Bruno Duarte of Estrela Vermelha on their shortlist. The 30-year-old has an offer, is open to joining and the deal is viewed as advanced.
He operates outside the box, links play and delivers assists and pre-assists. According to Mozzart Sport in Serbia, his numbers are strong but he has not maintained the same level in bigger European games. Being Brazilian also helps, with Vasco at their foreign-quota limit while still seeking reinforcements elsewhere, and his market makes a move feasible for the SAF.
Duarte joined Estrela Vermelha in July 2024 and has posted his best figures in Serbia, alongside his first trophies. He has 42 goals and 14 assists in 98 official matches, winning the league in 2024/25 and 2025/26 and the cup in both seasons.
Most of his goals came domestically, with 33 in 69 across league and cup. He added nine in 28 continental games, 15 starts, seven in Champions League qualifying and two in the Europa League.
After Portuguesa, he moved to Lviv in July 2018, scoring 10 and assisting two in 33 outings. A year later he joined Vitória de Guimarães, delivering 23 goals and 10 assists in 98 games, then Damac in 2022, four in 19, before Farense, 14 goals and four assists in 36.
Vasco view him as a player with strong attacking numbers in different contexts who could lift an attack short on goals in the Brasileirão. Brenner, Spinelli and David have combined for four in 22 league matches. At 30, he would join Colidio and Andrés Gómez, with Brenner out for about a month with a left big-toe injury.
