Arsenal will be keeping a watchful eye on Amario Cozier-Duberry, who left them in 2024, but is now subject of significant transfer interest.

The future of Amario Cozier-Duberry remains up in the air heading into the final couple of weeks of the summer transfer window.

The winger caught the eye for all the right reasons whilst on loan with Bolton Wanderers in their promotion-winning season last term, where he played a starring role for the Trotters as they returned to the Championship.

Cozier-Duberry has spent pre-season with parent club, Brighton & Hove Albion, and is yet to find a loan move elsewhere, although his long-term future is still up in the air.

He hasn't been short of options this summer either, with Rangers already seeing a £7.5m bid rejected by Brighton for Cozier-Duberry, and it remains to be seen whether the Scottish giants will reignite their interest before the transfer window slams shut.

Wolves are also rumoured to be keen on a deal to land the winger's signature this summer, with Liam Keen from the Express & Star breaking the news that the Championship side were exploring a move for Cozier-Duberry.

Time is ticking on any potential agreement for the 21-year-old though, and he'll be eager to have his future resolved sooner, rather than later, as regular minutes don't seem likely with Brighton & Hove Albion this season in the top-flight of English football.

Cozier-Duberry is a player with significant potential, and it's easy to forget that he's still only 21, with his best years still ahead of him. However, he's a player that can perform to a high standard in the early stages of his professional career, and it'll be interesting to see whether any of the interested clubs meet Brighton's valuation this summer.

Journalist Pete O'Rourke has recently revealed that Brighton have placed a £10m valuation on Cozier-Duberry amid interest from elsewhere, and considering Rangers weren't too far off that price tag with their original bid, the Gers could be tempted to submit a second offer.

Arsenal will be keeping tabs on their former player

It might not be common knowledge, but Cozier-Duberry was previously on the books with Arsenal as a youngster, having spent four years with the Premier League champions from 2019-2024.

From there, he moved to Brighton, where he's since gone on to make a name for himself for all the right reasons whilst out on loan with Bolton most recently.

Arsenal will be keeping tabs on any transfer developments for their former player this summer, and they could potentially have some sell-on clause in place with Brighton.

Arsenal won't have expected Cozier-Duberry to kick on like he had whilst on loan from parent club, Brighton, but they could be frustrated if he continues to go from strength to strength moving forwards, as he left them on a free transfer, having turned down a new deal with them, having made just five senior appearances for the Gunners, with all of them coming in friendly matches.

Cozier-Duberry is at a crucial stage of his career

It doesn't seem as though there's a pathway into the Brighton first-team for Amario Cozier-Duberry at this moment in time, and so that could hint that his long-term future is away from the AMEX Stadium.

However, it's important that he doesn't rush into a move elsewhere, as one wrong move could harm his development, which is the worst case scenario for a player that has so much talent.

A move to Rangers could give him the ideal platform to perform in front of a sell-out crowd each week and for a club with significant stature in football, whilst a move to Wolves could be a better choice for regular game time, and it would be for a team that most would expect to challenge for promotion into the Premier League this season.

An interesting few weeks awaits Cozier-Duberry, who will be eager to have his future resolved in the near future, so that he can focus on the on-pitch performances for any potential new club.
