Sunderland unveiled their 2026/27 away kit on Friday, but no goalkeeper shirt featured. The club said keeper strips will be launched separately at some point in July with a distinct design, replacing the previous practice of pairing one with each outfield release.
The pink and black change kit begins a multi-year collaboration with the Elvis Presley estate, with this first edition celebrating his early breakthrough.
It is on sale without a front-of-shirt sponsor as talks continue over a new 2026/27 deal. Sunderland had a one-year agreement with Asian gambling firm W88 last season, which cannot be renewed or extended because a Premier League ban on front-of-shirt gambling sponsors comes into force this summer.
Interim chief executive Tom Burwell, working with Chief Commercial Officer Scott McCubbin, has been running the search for a new partner. He is confident the club will secure improved terms compared with the W88 agreement last season.
The away shirt will be sold without a sponsor for the entire 2026/27 campaign. Once a new partner is confirmed, fans will be able to have that logo printed at club shops.
