Will Still returns to France to take charge of Auxerre

Will Still, the Anglo-Belgian coach, 33, has returned to France to take charge of AJ Auxerre on a contract through 2028, the club said in a statement on Friday.

He replaces Christophe Pélissier, who was dismissed at the end of the season despite Auxerre staying in Ligue 1 at the last moment.

Still did not play professionally, choosing early to pursue coaching. He became Reims head coach in 2022.

He moved to Lens two years later, then joined Southampton in the English second tier last season.

He was sacked in November 2025.
