Wissam Ben Yedder, 35, has signed a six-month contract with Wydad Athletic Club in Casablanca after a brief spell in Türkiye, according to L'Équipe.

The French international, capped 19 times with three goals, joins the Moroccan league leaders and will link up with Hakim Ziyech. His deal includes an option for a further year, and he accepted reduced terms to complete the move.

His Monaco contract expired in summer 2024. He joined Sepahan SC in April 2025, making six appearances and scoring once.

In September 2025 he moved to Sakaryaspor in Türkiye's second tier, scoring five in 14 matches.

Ben Yedder has been referred to the Alpes-Maritimes criminal court, alongside his brother, on counts of rape, attempted rape and sexual assault, and has appealed that decision. In September 2025 he was found guilty at first instance by the Nice criminal court of psychological violence against his wife.
