Wolfsburg are finalising a deal to bring in talented young forward Adam Daghim to the Volkswagen Arena from Austrian outfit RB Salzburg, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Despite kicker reporting that Wolfsburg’s higher ups had declared themselves finished in the transfer market for this summer, a late acquisition seems to have come for the Wolves in the form of Daghim.

As of yet, no fee has been mentioned, nor whether the deal is permanent or on a loan basis. Nevertheless, the 19-year-old forward is reportedly booked in for a medical within the next 24 hours.

Daghim, a Danish U21 international, joined Salzburg from Aarhus GF for a reported €3m back in 2023. Since then, he has scored six goals and provided five assists in 56 appearances across all competitions for the Austrian side.

A versatile forward, Daghim is capable of playing all across the front line and would provide head coach Paul Simonis with more than suitable back-up – and competition – for the likes of Mohamed Amoura, Jonas Wind, Patrick Wimmer, Andreas Skov Olsen.
