Wolverhampton Wanderers consider Yllan Okou | OneFootball

Wolverhampton Wanderers have been observing La Louviere defender Yllan Okou (23), according to a report from Sacha Tavolieri.

Okou, an AS Monaco academy product, has impressed since making the move to Belgium, to the extent that he is attracting interest from several club. The Frenchman decided to remain with La Louviere, despite interest from across Europe. The defender was notably scouted by Wolverhampton Wanderers in mid-August with a view to a potential approach. At that time, talks were also held with the defender’s camp to sound out a move.

However, with the EFL Championship side failing to sell any players in this position prior to the closure of the transfer window, this interest did not go any further. It could be revisited in January. Okou received an offer from Amedspor, as well as from other sides in Eastern Europe. There is also interest from the Swiss Super League, whilst a La Liga side has also been scouting the former Monégasque.
