Transfer lines around Wolves, West Brom and Villa are gathering pace, with Joao Gomes leaning towards Atletico Madrid, Jackson Tchatchoua attracting suitors, Albion linked with Ben Brereton-Diaz and Emi Martinez on Liverpool’s radar.

Sport.ua reports Shakhtar have opened talks to sign Wolves full back Pedro Lima. The 2024 arrival from Sport Recife cost £8.5m and has featured only intermittently.

Talks over a potential £38m switch for Gomes to Atletico are said to be advancing. The Champions League semi-finalists reportedly see him as Conor Gallagher’s replacement after his January move to Tottenham, and the midfielder is said to favour Madrid over Leeds United, Zenit Saint Petersburg, Atalanta and Galatasaray despite richer offers.

Wolves are understood to have sanctioned Tchatchoua’s exit after a mixed first season following his £10m move. Bologna are said to be leading the race, with Real Betis, Villarreal, Rennes and Marseille also interested.

Brereton-Diaz is again linked with Albion after a testing spell since leaving Blackburn. The striker joined Southampton in 2024, scored four in 17 on loan at Derby last year, and with two years left would command a fee as other clubs monitor him.

Villa are said to retain interest in Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush, who would cost around £59m if City chose to recoup their outlay. Meanwhile, fresh claims suggest Liverpool are exploring a deal for Martinez, with Alisson tipped to depart and Juventus named as front runners.
