Wolves fixtures reshuffled as Everton cup tie brought forward | OneFootball

Wolves’ September fixtures have been reshuffled, with the home meeting with Portsmouth pushed back to September 16, kick-off 7.45pm.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, Cesar Peixoto’s side will instead travel to Everton on September 9 in the third round of the Carabao Cup.

Both Everton and Liverpool were drawn at home, and the Merseyside clubs cannot host on the same night, so the Everton v Wolves tie has been brought forward. Liverpool are due to be in Champions League action in the earlier week.

Tickets bought for the original Portsmouth date remain valid. Supporters can request a refund up to 48 hours before the rearranged fixture.

The club have set prices for the Everton cup tie at £15 for adults, £10 for over-65s and £5 for under-18s.
