Wolves will assess Fer Lopez for the Championship campaign. He had returned to Celta Vigo and a La Liga stay had been preferred, but he could remain at Molineux.

It was confirmed on Tuesday that Solly March will leave as a free agent this summer, and Wolves are among the clubs credited with interest.

Former Albion loanee Charlie Taylor is set to be out of contract. The Southampton defender made 20 starts and eight outings from the bench as Albion stayed up, and is not expected to be offered new terms.

Albion have offered Josh Maja a new deal after 43 appearances and six goals. Celtic and Rangers are monitoring the striker, though no offer has been made, and he previously hit 10 in 16 during a hot streak.

Arsenal are reportedly ready to step up interest in Morgan Rogers, who helped Villa return to the Champions League and win the Europa League. It is claimed preliminary talks have taken place and a fee up to £116m has been mooted, following his inclusion in Thomas Tuchel’s World Cup squad.

Valencia are prepared to revive a move for Villa’s Andres Garcia. Signed in January 2025, he has eight starts and 10 substitute appearances across 16 months, and only 109 minutes in eight games this season.
