Wolves ‘make enquiries’ for Aral Simsir as Villa ‘to bid’ for Ilaix Moriba

Wolves have made enquiries for Midtjylland winger Aral Simsir, with Ben Jacobs reporting the Danish club also turned down an approach from a club in Türkiye. Wolves and MLS side San Diego FC are also said to have asked about the 23-year-old Türkiye international.

Simsir was named Danish Superliga Player of the Year last season after scoring 12 goals and supplying 21 assists.

Aston Villa are preparing a £15 million bid for Celta Vigo midfielder Ilaix Moriba, according to Football Insider.

The Guinea international came through Barcelona’s academy before being sold to RB Leipzig. He later had loan spells at Valencia, Getafe and Celta Vigo, joining Celta permanently last summer.

Reports suggest Celta will seek around £25m as they look to profit on the £5m they paid to sign him.
