With three Premier League matches still to play, transfer chatter around Wolves, West Brom and Aston Villa is intensifying.
Record reports that Wolves are monitoring former defender Bastien Meupiyou after the 20-year-old’s season with Alverca. The centre-back, who joined from Nantes in 2024 and mainly featured for the under-21s, has played in Portugal’s top flight. The report adds Wolves have a buyback clause.
In Scotland, Celtic are said to be eyeing West Brom’s George Campbell. The defender impressed after arriving from Montreal, contributing goals in a survival run. A move is considered difficult given the fee and his contract length.
Sporting CP winger Geny Catamo is also on radars, with claims in Portugal linking Villa and Fulham. The Mozambique international has eight goals in 41 games this season.
In Italy, reports suggest Wolves are pushing to bring former Southampton and Birmingham striker Che Adams back to England. Tuttosport claims a three-year offer is being readied, with Torino seeking around five million euros.
Wolves and Albion are linked with Rangers defender Leon King, 22. The Ayr United loanee would require only minimal compensation as he is under 23, reports in Scotland say.
Lewis Dobbin has yet to play for Villa since a £10m move from Everton two summers ago. After spells at West Brom, Norwich and Preston, Sheffield United are seen as favourites for a likely loan.
