Alex Lasry, who leads the organising committee, sought to reassure amid potential disruptions linked to the war in the Middle East, saying their objective is to be ready to welcome the world to the region and ensure everyone who comes has a safe, secure experience.

The tournament starts on 11 June at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico and ends on 19 July at MetLife Stadium near New York. In all, 104 matches will be played across 16 stadiums and four time zones. The United States will stage most of the action, hosting 78 games.
