DR Congo has already set a key milestone in its preparations ahead of the decisive intercontinental playoff for the 2026 World Cup. According to Afrik-Foot, the Leopards will face Bermuda on March 25 in Guadalajara, in a friendly scheduled just days before the most crucial showdown of their campaign.

This behind-closed-doors test, set to take place in a yet-to-be-determined stadium, is designed to help Sébastien Desabre's men ramp up the intensity while getting acclimated to conditions in Mexico. The Congolese squad is expected to arrive on March 21, aiming to adapt as much as possible to the local environment ahead of time.

DR Congo will have to face, in the final, the winner between Jamaica and New Caledonia.
