"The Senegal national team will play its last two qualification matches for the 2026 World Cup in October 2025: on 10/10 in Juba against South Sudan and on 14/10 in Dakar against Mauritania," reads an official statement from the Senegalese national team on its X account.

The Lions of Teranga currently top Group B with 18 points, two ahead of DR Congo (16 pts). They also lead Sudan (12 pts), Togo (7 pts), Mauritania (6 pts), and South Sudan (4 pts).

Sadio Mané and his teammates need to secure four points from these fixtures to guarantee their spot at the global showcase, regardless of the Leopards' results.
