FIFA's officially announced the initial steps for ticket sales to the 2026 World cup confirming dynamic pricing system that will fluctuate based on demand.

Ticket prices & categories

At present, individual match tickets range from 60 dollar for group stage games to 6,710 dollar for seat at the final.

However these figures're expected to shift in the coming months as demand shapes availability.

Pre sale draw system

Fans holding Visa cards and registered with the "FIFA Fan ID" will be eligible for the first pre sale draw running from 10 to 19 Sep.

Selected applicants will be notified on 29 September with successful buyers able to purchase their tickets starting 1 Oct.

Purchase limits

FIFA's capped sales at four tickets per person per match with maximum of 40 ticket per buyer throughout the tournament.

Next phases of sales

  1. Phase 2: Registration from 27 - 31 October with sales from mid November to early December.
  2. Phase 3: Begins after the final tournament draw on 5 Dec when fans will be able to buy remaining tickets on first come, first served basis.

The expanded 48 team World cup will run from 11 Jun to 19 Jul 2026, hosted across the U.S, Canada and Mexico.

So far 13 nation have already secured qualification including defending champions Argentina & five time winners Brazil.
