After being held to a thrilling 2-2 draw by Japan in their opening fixture, Ronald Koeman has made one change to his side for tonight’s encounter. Former RB Leipzig forward Brian Brobbey comes into the starting lineup, replacing Cryscencio Summerville.
Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Mark Flekken once again has to settle for a place on the bench, while former Wolfsburg defender Micky van de Ven retains his spot in the starting XI. Former Borussia Dortmund forward Donyell Malen also starts for the Oranje.
Sweden arrive in Houston with three points already on the board following their emphatic 5-1 victory over Tunisia in their opening match. As a result, head coach Graham Potter has opted to name an unchanged side.
Holstein Kiel winger Alexander Bernhardsson makes his second consecutive start, while former St. Pauli striker Viktor Gyökeres once again leads the line alongside Alexander Isak.
Current St. Pauli midfielder Eric Smith starts among the substitutes, as does Borussia Dortmund full-back Daniel Svensson.
Netherlands (4-3-3): Verbruggen (GK) – Dumfries, Van Hecke, Van Dijk, Van de Ven – Gravenberch, Reijnders, De Jong – Brobbey, Malen, Gakpo
Sweden (3-4-1-2): Nordfeldt (GK) – Lagerbielke, Lindelöf, Hien – Bernhardsson, Karlström, Ayari, Gudmundsson – Nygren – Isak, Gyökeres
