On Tuesday night, Cristiano Ronaldo once again made football history by becoming the all-time top scorer in the history of World Cup qualifiers. The Portuguese star responded to his achievement.
On Tuesday evening, Portugal was held to a 2-2 draw at home by Hungary. Nevertheless, the Seleção das Quinas remains at the top of their group. Ronaldo, who found the back of the net, distinguished himself by becoming the all-time top scorer in World Cup qualifying history (41 goals). CR7 took to social media to react to this honorary milestone.
"It's no secret that representing the national team means a lot to me, so I'm very proud to have reached this unique milestone for Portugal. Thank you to everyone who helped me get here. See you in November to wrap up World Cup qualification," he wrote on his social media accounts.
