There were goals galore at Villa Park on Sunday as Tottenham Hotspur won a 7-3 away to Aston Villa as Chelsea and Manchester United both recorded important wins.
With Brighton's game against Arsenal postponed due to a waterlogged pitch there were just four lunch-time kick-offs today in the WSL.
Of course the most incredible of those was the 3-7 score line with Tottenham thrashing Aston Villa to lay down their Champions League credentials in the race for European spots.
Signe Gaupset opened the scoring for Villa before that was quickly cancelled out by the first of Kirsty Hanson's two goals. The visitors were back ahead again through Beth England with Olivia Holdt finding the net to make it 1-3 at half-time.
The goals kept coming in the second when no sooner had Oriane Jean-François reduced the deficit to 2-3 then substitute Cathinka Tandberg – on for a matter of minutes – restored the two goal advantage with one of her two goals of the game.
From that point on Spurs took charge of the game with Maika Hamano and Julie Blakstad also on the scoresheet to wrap up an incredible win for Martin Ho's side.
It was a much closer contest in Leigh where a depleted and tired-looking Manchester United found themselves a goal down against London City Lionesses as Nikita Parris scored against her former club once again with an early header.
The visitors looked like the better of the two teams until Jess Park equalised with a moment of magic as she cut inside, ran past the defence, before firing past Elena Lete.
United improved in the second half and eventually grabbed the winning goal in the 79th minute when Maya Le Tissier's freekick delivery found Millie Turner to head in for her first goal in just over a year.
That win was particularly important for second-place United as Chelsea also won their fixture.
Chelsea thrashed Liverpool 9-1 in the League Cup back in December but this was a much closer game for Sonia Bompastor's side. Sjoeke Nüsken opened the scoring for the Blues just before the break with Lauren James wrapping up the win in the second half in what was a much, much closer game.
Finally, at the bottom of the table, Everton pushed themselves further away from the bottom of the table with a 1-0 win over West Ham United thanks to Honoka Hayashi's eighth-minute goal.
