Xabi Alonso wants 42-G/A speedster to ignite Liverpool's title charge | OneFootball

Liverpool is expected to appoint Xabi Alonso as a replacement for Arne Slot if he is sacked in recent weeks.

The Spanish manager is currently unemployed after being sacked by Real Madrid. It remains to be seen whether Liverpool can bring their former midfielder back to the club in a managerial capacity.

He will add explosive pace and unpredictability to the attack. He registered 42 goal contributions for PSG last season, and he could be a future star with Liverpool. The opportunity to play in the Premier League could be exciting for the Frenchman, and Liverpool will be able to provide him with regular game time as well.​
