Few players across the Premier League era captured the hearts and minds of a fanbase faster than Everton's Yakubu.

The former Nigerian international arrived at Goodison Park at the beginning of the 2007/08 season for a then club record £11.25 million.

He would hit the ground running under David Moyes, bagging 15 goals in 29 league appearances and 21 in 39 across all competitions across his debut campaign, continuing his form in front of goal that saw him previously star for Middlesbrough, Portsmouth, and Maccabi Haifa.

And it was during his four-year stint from 2007-2011 on the blue half of Merseyside that Yakubu lined up next to some familiar faces and cult-hero names, with the Nigerian sitting down with club media to pick his dream five-a-side team.

Tim Cahill, Mikel Arteta, and Leighton Baines is, as they say, pure Barclays nostalgia.
