Lamine Yamal, the 18-year-old sensation from Barcelona and the Spanish national team, recently opened up about the deeply personal and difficult decision he faced: choosing between the country of his heritage and the country he calls home.

He admits the choice was far from straightforward. Morocco, with its historic run to the 2022 World Cup semi-finals, presented a powerful and emotionally compelling path.
