Yasser Larouci joins Le Mans on free as promoted side build for Ligue 1

Le Mans have signed Algeria international Yasser Larouci on a free as they prepare for their return to Ligue 1.

The club said on Tuesday that the 24-year-old left-back, who left Troyes after a loan at Kifisia in the Greek top flight last season, has signed until 2029.

Developed at Liverpool, Larouci has three caps for Algeria and will add depth on the left for Patrick Videira.

He has made 42 Ligue 1 appearances and 11 in the Premier League, experience that could help a squad with many newcomers to the top tier.

He becomes Le Mans’ third recruit of the summer after Louis Mafouta and Billal Brahimi.
