Yassine Benhattab completes Montpellier move

Attacking midfielder Yassine Benhattab has left Nantes to join Montpellier, signing a contract through June 2029.

According to L'Équipe, the two Ligue 2 clubs are understood to have agreed a fee of around one million euros.

Benhattab, 23, spent the second half of last season on loan at Reims in Ligue 2, after making 10 Ligue 1 appearances.

He had been out of Nantes' first-team group for some time.

Before that he played for Aubagne, where he was named National player of the season in 2024-25.
