Yassine Bounou ends speculation over future by joining Al-Hilal training camp

Yassine Bounou has ended speculation over his future by reporting to Al-Hilal’s training camp in Austria as the squad prepare for the new season, according to Goal.com.

His arrival follows weeks of links to a summer exit, with several European clubs said to be interested and talk of a reshuffle among Al-Hilal’s foreign contingent.

By linking up with team-mates, the Morocco goalkeeper has signalled he will continue pre-season work with Al-Hilal, at least for now.

Despite a host of mooted European destinations, Bounou has stuck to the club’s programme alongside the rest of the squad.

Even so, his longer-term situation remains open. The closing days of the window could determine whether he stays with Al-Hilal or departs if a suitable offer arrives.
