Yaya Diémé, 18, has arrived at Strasbourg after obtaining his visa for France. Angelo Candido, 17, is expected in Alsace in the coming days for a short adaptation period.

According to L'Équipe, the Senegal Under-20 winger had his move secured for months and has now received clearance to travel. He previously played for Diambars and won the 2023 Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations.

Diémé is set to cross paths with Candido during the Brazilian’s stay. The defender will spend several days familiarising himself with the club and its environment.

He can only join the set-up from January 2027, as he is still 17.

Strasbourg bought Candido from Sao Paulo. He won the Under-17 Copa America in April and was named best right-back at the most recent Under-17 World Cup, where his side finished fourth.
