Chelsea legend Thiago Silva has been speaking on the influence that Liam Rosenior has had at Chelsea as head coach so far.
Rosenior joined from Strasbourg mid-season, taking over from Enzo Maresca who departed the club and we have heard nothing about since.

Chelsea under Rosenior have mostly been pretty decent at least in terms of results, unless they have been playing against Arsenal or some relegation battling teams, where they have struggled. The performances have not been perfect, far from it at times. But generally, Rosenior will be pretty content with the start he has made as Chelsea boss.
Silva believes we are already seeing some subtle differences under Rosenior compared to what we saw under Maresca, and he certainly describes that as a good thing.

In words cited on X this week ahead of Chelsea taking on PSG in the Champions League tonight, Silva said:
“Interestingly, watching Chelsea play, you can already see his influence on the team. There’s still a bit of the previous coach, but he’s already introducing some of his own ideas.”
I think I will agree with this assessment too. You do still see elements of Maresca in our play. But I am also seeing improvements under Rosenior, which is obviously what the club wanted when replacing Maresca with the English coach, right?
One move that will definitely be made in the summer is arrival of Geovany Quenda to Chelsea from Sporting for around £18m – and there are already plans in place for him.
Luis Enrique took his PSG press conference yesterday, and he previewed tonight’s Champions League game by speaking a lot about Liam Rosenior’s style of play.
