Leeds United youngster Jayden Lienou has received his first senior Wales call-up for next week’s friendlies against Ghana and Romania.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Wales boss Craig Bellamy has drafted the 18-year-old full back into his squad.

Lienou joined Leeds from Manchester City’s Academy last summer and impressed for the club’s under-21s.

He later moved to the fringes of the first team at the end of the Premier League campaign.

The defender was named on the bench for the season-ending fixtures against Brighton and Tottenham, remaining an unused substitute in both.

He has already represented Wales at up to under-19 level.
