With every Mexico call-up, the work being done at the Rojiblanca Academy to develop professional players capable of competing at the highest level continues to gain strength. This time, Mexico’s U-15 and U-16 National Teams announced their respective squads, with several of our young Rojiblancos earning a spot.
Here are all the details from each of these call-ups.
U-15
At this level, Mexico competed in the Four Nations Tournament, facing Panama, Peru, and Houston. The Mexican side defeated all three opponents and ultimately lifted the trophy as champions of the international tournament.
For these matches, Marvin Cabrera selected three Rojiblancos: Emiliano García, Noé Salazar, and Marcelo Villarreal, who represented the Rojiblanca Academy throughout the competition.
U-16
Meanwhile, this age group will compete in the Liga MX International Tournament, where they will play seven matches. For the competition, head coach Yasser Corona selected three players from the Rojiblanca Academy: Erick Galindez, Dilan Padilla, and César Quintana.
Mexico’s first match of the tournament will be against LA Galaxy on September 3 at 10:00 AM at the CAR.
These call-ups once again highlight the importance of the Rojiblanca Academy within Mexico’s National Teams, where our young players continue to showcase the competitive level of the Best Academy in Mexico.
