Yuri Alberto is Corinthians' only ever present under Fernando Diniz, featuring in all 16 matches since the coach's April arrival.
According to Meu Timao, since Diniz's debut against Platense, Alberto has started 14 times, coming off the bench against Barra in the Copa do Brasil first leg and against Peñarol in the Libertadores fifth round. He has two goals and three assists in that span.
Three others have missed only one game each. Gustavo Henrique sat out Mirassol in the Brasileirão due to yellow card accumulation. Rodrigo Garro remained on the bench against Barra, the same match Alberto began among the substitutes.
Jesse Lingard was unavailable for the final fixture before the World Cup pause, against Grêmio in the Brasileirão, after the club permitted him to travel to England for a family health matter.
Despite Diniz's faith, Alberto's future is uncertain. After securing Copa do Brasil progression, he said he wants to pursue new objectives during the break, so a departure is not ruled out.
Alberto holds Italian citizenship, so he would not occupy a foreign-player slot in Italy. Earlier this year Corinthians rejected a €22 million offer from Lazio, around R$137 million.
