Yuri César debuts for United Arab Emirates in 4-0 Gulf Cup victory | OneFootball

Yuri César made his United Arab Emirates debut on Thursday, starting in a 4-0 Gulf Cup win over Yemen. According to Coluna Do Fla, the Flamengo academy graduate welcomed the chance to represent the country where he has lived for several years.

The fixture marked his first official appearance for the national team. He had previously played in a match against Al Wahda in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The UAE squad also features naturalised Brazilians, including Marcus Meloni, Luan Pereira, Bruno Oliveira and Fábio Lima.

This season he has seven appearances and three goals. UAE face Bahrain on Sunday, 27 September, in the Gulf Cup, offering another chance for Yuri César to impress.
