With two weeks left in the window, Zakharyan remains with Real Sociedad and is vying to stay relevant as no formal bids have reached Anoeta. A tentative loan enquiry from Krasnodar failed to advance. His interrupted spells in Donostia have dented his market standing.

"I have had many injuries and some very negative things in my head because of them," he told El Diario Vasco.
