Morocco face Zambia in their final Africa Cup of Nations group game at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium on Monday.

The hosts were held to a 1-1 draw by Mali last time out, denying them qualification to the round of 16 ahead of this fixture.

Zambia were held to a goalless draw by Comoros. They have picked up just two points from their opening two games.

Match preview

Morocco are top of Group A with four points, two more than second-placed Mali. They only need a draw to qualify for the knockout phase.

The Atlas Lions produced a dominant display against Comoros in their opening fixture, beating them 2-0.

Morocco missed the chance to progress to the next round after drawing with Mali and will be eager to avoid any mishaps against Zambia.

The Chipolopolo have been poor offensively, but boast a good defence.

Zambia remain without a victory in the competition since they won it in 2012, and will be hoping to end that run against the Atlas Lions.

Head-to-head

Morocco have faced Zambia three times at AFCON, winning two and drawing one.

Team news

Morocco manager Walid Regragui has confirmed that Achraf Hakimi will feature in this game, but failed to reveal whether he will start.

However, the hosts could be without Romain Saiss and Hamza Igamane. Zambia have no injury concerns ahead of this game.

Predicted line-ups

Morocco (4-3-3): Yassine Bounou, Noussair Mazraoui, Jawad El Yamiq, Nayef Aguerd, Anass Salah-Eddine, Sofyan Amrabat, Azzedine Ounahi, Neil El Aynaoui, Brahim Diaz, Yakub El Kaabi, Ismael Saibari.

Prediction

We fancy a 2-0 victory for Morocco.
