Zinédine Zidane has confirmed Kylian Mbappé will remain France captain as he begins his tenure in charge.

According to L'Équipe, the new head coach set out the decision at Friday’s news conference while naming a 23-player squad.

Zidane declined to discuss the Ballon d’Or.
