Roma continues to work to settle its accounts by June 30th and honor existing financial agreements.
In this context, significant financial resources could come from both the outgoing market and some indirect transactions involving former club players.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, progress is being made in talks between Roma and Nottingham Forest regarding Jan Ziolkowski.
The 2005-born Polish defender, who arrived in the capital in the summer of 2025, has reportedly been targeted by the English club, which is reportedly actively evaluating his signing for next season.
A potential sale of the young central defender would allow Roma to secure a fee sufficient to reach their financial targets set by the end of the month.
During his first season with the Giallorossi, Ziolkowski found space primarily as a defensive rotation option, also making a name for himself in the Europa League with the goal against Panathinaikos that helped secure direct qualification to the round of 16.
