Flamengo, champions of Brazil and the Libertadores, ended 2025 as the country’s top prize-money earners. The runners-up prize in the Copa Intercontinental, worth R$ 22.06 million, proved just enough to nudge them past rivals Fluminense, with Brasileirão figures still undisclosed.

According to Globo.com, Flamengo collected R$ 375,744,130 excluding the league, with R$ 183.33 million, 48.79%, coming from the Libertadores. They lead Fluminense by R$ 1.51 million, the Tricolor totalling R$ 374,234,823.

Corinthians climbed to fifth, the highest placed side not at the Club World Cup, after winning the Copa do Brasil on Sunday by beating Vasco at the Maracanã. Their haul reached R$ 115,091,092, including R$ 97.79 million from the competition and R$ 77.175 million for the title itself.

The top four were the Club World Cup participants. For comparison, last year Botafogo led 2024 earnings with R$ 261 million, the only club above R$ 200 million. Flamengo, Atlético-MG and São Paulo were the only others to pass R$ 100 million.

The ranking covers first-division state tournaments and competitions run by CBF, Conmebol and Fifa. In total, 146 clubs received prize money in 2025, while Baré earned R$ 15,000 for third place in the Campeonato Roraimense.
