Wilson Isidor is reportedly ready to leave Sunderland this summer after five months without a Premier League start.

SunSport reports that the 25-year-old is exploring options away from the Stadium of Light, and that Sunderland would not block a move if suitable bids arrive. Bids were turned down last summer, the club were open to a January sale and a £25m valuation cooled interest, with Everton and Nottingham Forest making enquiries over permanent deals and Crystal Palace and Burnley assessing late-window loans. Isidor is under contract until 2028 and an in-season extension offer brought no agreement, while the club may now have to soften that valuation to approve an exit.

Isidor played a major part in promotion and began the campaign as a key figure for Régis Le Bris. His involvement has dwindled since an early-December league start, with Brian Brobbey preferred through the middle.

Despite limited minutes, he has scored five Premier League goals this season.

Sunderland sit 12th with three matches left against Manchester United, Everton and Chelsea, and still have an outside chance of European football. Isidor’s future looks likely to be a key talking point as the window approaches.
