Wilson Isidor is reportedly ready to leave Sunderland this summer after losing his place in the second half of the Premier League season. SunSport reports that the 25-year-old has begun exploring options after five months without a league start, and Sunderland are not expected to block a move if suitable offers arrive.

He started the campaign as a regular under Régis Le Bris, but has not begun a league game since early December, with Brian Brobbey preferred up front.

The report said Sunderland rejected bids last summer, then were willing to sell in January, but a £25m price tag deterred buyers. Everton and Nottingham Forest enquired about permanent deals, while Crystal Palace and Burnley looked at late loans that fell through.

It added that Sunderland may now lower their valuation to facilitate a sale. Isidor is contracted until 2028 and was offered an extension earlier in the season, though no agreement was reached.

He has five Premier League goals and, the report notes, the best minutes-per-goal ratio in the squad. He had hoped to revive his form on Wearside but has largely remained on the bench.

Sunderland sit 12th with three matches left against Manchester United, Everton and Chelsea, and retain an outside chance of European football. His future appears likely to be a key theme of the summer window.
